JOB TYPE: Direct Hire/ FTE Position (no agencies/C2C – see notes below)
LOCATION: Remote – Work from anywhere (Time Zone: EST, PST/CIST, CST | Partial overlap)
SALARY RANGE: $45,000 – $65,000/yr
ESTIMATED DURATION: 40hr/week – Long term

Qualifications:
Experience with developing interactive, customer facing applications and websites;
Software development foundations: solid software design patterns and scalable web service APIs principles;
Experience with test-driven development;
Proficiency in software engineering tools; and
Ability to document requirements and specifications
BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field;
5-7 years’ experience in a similar position;
Required Technical skills: React, PHP, Java, MVC, REST, JavaScript/Ajax/jQuery, API security, MySQL, Kafka, Redis, AWS, nginx, Apache Tomcat, Docker, Linux
Additional skills: WordPress, Kubernetes, Python, shell scripting, AWS architect and DevOps certifications are a big plus;
Previous Financial industry experience a plus
What you’ll be working on
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and development of applications within the FE international and LTV Fund portfolio
The role main business function is to support FE International and LTV Fund mission to build out high-quality, innovative and fully performing scalable software, complying with the highest coding standards
Design and execute full software development life cycle;
Write well-designed and testable code;
Work with a third party team of developers;
Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility;
Integrate software components into a fully functional software system;
Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures;
Document and maintain software functionality;
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems;
Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback;
Comply with project plans and industry standards;
Ensure software is updated with latest features; and
Other ad-hoc software duties as required by the business
