About the Role

 

The Child Mind Institute (CMI) is seeking a Senior Engineering Director to accelerate the pace of scientific  innovation and discovery in mental health and learning. This 3-year leadership position will help CMI, through  its partnership with California’s Department of Health Care Services (DHCS), enable collaborations that can  test, improve upon, and adopt innovative mental health solutions for the benefit of every child, teen, and young  adult. 

 

The Senior Engineering Director will be responsible for leading our product development organization from a  technical leadership perspective. You will recruit, manage, and lead the alignment of our internal and external  engineering resources. You will also help support our strategic partners across the globe. Working closely with  our Program Director and Engineering Directors you will help define the strategy for our digital products and  platforms (30%), lead the technical design and execution of all our products and platforms (50%), and review  and approve your teams’ code (20%). 

 

Reporting to our Program Director, this is a full-time, exempt position. New York or CA is preferred.

 

Leveling 

  • Must have 10+ years’ experience building highly usable software in technical stacks we prefer
  • 7+ years of management experience 
  • $300,000-$390,000
